With so much of our time, effort, attention and energy spent on surviving day-to-day, we sometimes manage to strive for more, better, higher, faster – for a future of promise. And if we’ve been particularly fortunate, that promise is one that fills our needs, expresses our true values, and is based on what WE want, rather than what someone else wants for us. But does it have to be hard to attain? And does it have to take so long? An insightful person quoted to me recently “I climbed the ladder of success, only to find it leaning against the wrong building.” Sound familiar?
